What is this and why do we need it ?
The A2 CofC (A2 Certificate of Competency) is a new drone qualification which was introduced at the start of January 2021 which allows you to fly small drones close to people in more demanding locations (such as built-up areas). Under the new regulations, you can operate a drone commercially for the first time without CAA Authorisation.
